Easter long weekend

Our offices will be closed over the Easter long weekend. They will reopen at 9 am on Tuesday 7 April 2026.

The Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe waste facilities will both be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

For any Shire related emergencies over Easter, please call the Shire's after hours number: 0427 381 098.

Extraordinary Postal Election Thursday 26 March 2026
Ballot papers must be received by 6 pm on election day to be included in the count.
If you have not received your election package in the post, please visit a Shire office for a replacement.

Applications for the annual Community Development Fund (CDF) are now open.

All local sports and community groups are encouraged to apply.

Applications close at 4 pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026.
