Extraordinary Postal Election Thursday 26 March 2026

If you have not received your election package, please visit a Shire office for a replacement. Please note Hopetoun is closed Wednesdays, Ravensthorpe is closed Thursdays. 

Ballots can also be hand delivered to the Ravensthorpe Council Chamber until 6 pm on election day.   

Results will be published by the WA Electoral Commission.

Easter long weekend

Our offices will be closed over the Easter long weekend. They will reopen at 9 am on Tuesday 7 April 2026.

The Hopetoun and Ravensthorpe waste facilities will both be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

For any Shire related emergencies over Easter, please call the Shire's after hours number: 0427 381 098.

Community Development Fund

Applications for the annual Community Development Fund (CDF) are now open.

All local sports and community groups are encouraged to apply.

Applications close at 4 pm on Tuesday 31 March 2026.
