Fire Control and Firebreak Notice 2024-25 now online

It is the responsibility of ALL landowners/occupiers within the Shire of Ravensthorpe to read and fully understand the requirements mentioned within the notice.

Firebreaks must be in place on 31 October 2024 and then maintained as per the Shire of Ravensthorpe Firebreak Notice 2024-25 until 30 April 2025.

Draft plan to combat erosion in Hopetoun open for public comment

The Hopetoun coastline has been identified as an erosion hotspot.

The draft plan looks at several treatment options to combat erosion.

Community catch-ups

The Shire of Ravensthorpe is hosting three community catch-up information sessions in the first week of August.

Everyone is welcome to attend and receive updates on several Shire projects.

The sessions are being held in Ravensthorpe on 1 August, Munglinup on 2 August and in Hopetoun on 3 August.

Much like at the Hopetoun markets earlier in the year, these sessions will give community members the opportunity to speak directly with councillors and Shire staff in an informal setting.

Light refreshments will be provided, so for catering purposes please RSVP to shire@ravensthorpe.wa.gov.au before Monday 31 July.
