It is the responsibility of ALL landowners/occupiers within the Shire of Ravensthorpe to read and fully understand the requirements mentioned within the notice.
Firebreaks must be in place on 31 October 2024 and then maintained as per the Shire of Ravensthorpe Firebreak Notice 2024-25 until 30 April 2025.

Collecting firewood throughout the Shire of Ravensthorpe is not currently permitted.
The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA) regulates the collection of firewood sourced from nominated areas in other regions of Western Australia, including in the Perth Hills and parts of the South West.

Firewood from a private property
To sell firewood taken from private property, the seller must have a licence issued by DBCA.
