The Shire of Ravensthorpe is hosting two community catch-up information sessions in the last week of November.
Everyone is welcome to attend and receive updates on several Shire projects.
You'll get the chance to speak directly to Shire staff and councillors in an informal setting.
The sessions are being held in Ravensthorpe on Tuesday 26 November and Hopetoun on Thursday 28 November.
Shire CEO Matthew Bird will also attend community meetings at Jerdacuttup and Munglinup to discuss similar topics.
Have your say on what happens to the plane tail
These community catch-ups will also provide the opportunity for community members to have their say on what happens to the tail of the Boeing 737 that crashed in the Fitzgerald River National Park in February 2023.
Part of the tail was gifted to the Shire of Ravensthorpe and it has been flagged as a potential tourist attraction to commemorate the incredible story of the two pilots who walked away from the crash unharmed.
Several ideas have been floated with the Shire directly by local stakeholders and community groups.
Come along to a community catch-up to let us know what you think we should do with the tail.
Have your say on how to put this piece of aviation history to best use for our region.
