WA EV Network charger now available at Ravensthorpe

  • WA EV Network EV charging station opens in Ravensthorpe
  • Travel along the Perth to Esperance outback route in an EV is now possible

Ravensthorpe is now linked to the WA EV Network with the opening of an electric vehicle (EV) charging station.

The site is conveniently located at 28 Dunn St behind the Ravensthorpe Cultural Precinct, which features various public facilities including public toilets and rest areas.

The Ravensthorpe EV charger links Perth to Esperance on the WA EV Network’s South-East inland loop.

The Shire of Ravensthorpe collaborated with Synergy and Western Power on this project.

There are now 35 EV charging sites completed along the WA EV Network.

The WA EV Network is expected to be completed later this year is part of the State Government’s State Electric Vehicle Strategy for Western Australia.
