Adoption of fees and charges - AC slow charging for electric vehicles
In accordance with Section 6.19 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Ravensthorpe Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday 18 February 2025, resolved to adopt the following fee for AC slow charging for electric vehicles.

The proposed fee was not included as part of the 2024/25 adopted fees and charges schedule and the statutory advertising provisions apply.
On 7 March 2024 the Shire of Ravensthorpe received a WALGA Charge-Up grant to install AC chargers at three locations, one of which is for Shire vehicles only.
The other two locations, the Hopetoun Shire office and the Ravensthorpe Airport, are available for public charging with a fee to be paid via a smartphone app.
The fee covers the cost of electricity, payment agent, admin and general maintenance. It comes into operation on Friday 21 March 2025.
