SHIRE OF RAVENSTHORPE

ADOPTION OF ADDITIONAL FEES AND CHARGES – TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION

In accordance with Section 6.19 of the Local Government Act 1995, the Shire of Ravensthorpe Council, at its meeting held on Tuesday 19 November 2024, resolved to impose the following fees for Temporary Accommodation.

It is proposed to rename a current fee from ‘Application to camp in area other than caravan park or camping ground’ to ‘Temporary accommodation application fee for up to 30 days’ and that a new fee of $600 for ‘Temporary accommodation for greater than 30 days to a maximum of 24 consecutive months’ and a renewal fee of $300.

The proposed fees were not included as part of the 2024/25 adopted fees and charges schedule, and the statutory advertising provisions apply.

These fees and charges will come into operation on Monday 9 December 2024
