Intention to Licence

In accordance with Section 3.58(3) of the Local Government Act 1995, a local government can dispose of property via a lease or licence to a nominated entity if it gives local public notice of the proposed disposition and seeks public submissions.

 

The Shire of Ravensthorpe intends to provide licences to the Hopetoun CRC and Rave About Arts local community groups to utilise Unit 5, 99 Tamar St Hopetoun for the purpose of a youth community development space on the following terms and conditions;

  • Term 3 years with proposed commencement date 1 July 2023
  • Nil licence fee payable with market valuation assessed at $11,438 per annum
  • Permitted purpose being a youth community development space and activation.
