Work has started on the extension of the gravel walking track to Two Mile Beach in Hopetoun.
The existing sandy track is being widened and limestone gravel will be added to make it easier to walk or cycle on.
This project was previously announced in our 2024/2025 Budget and is aimed at providing locals and visitors with a safer, well-maintained pathway between the town centre and Two Mile Beach.
The track is expected to be closed for several weeks while this work is carried out. We apologise if this causes any inconvenience.
Please be mindful of machinery and workers when in the area.
